Final Session of TEC

On Monday morning the Chief Secretary came into my office and asked if we would be interested in doing the final session of TEC which is the Worship Session.  He knew it was pretty much a last minute request and would have understood if we had declined, but we accepted the opportunity.

Lynn had prepared a lovely program using some songs that we had agreed upon.  We began with some Urdu songs and choruses to get things started.  We had a song sheet with the words for the songs in English.  We wanted them to sing "I'm In His Hands" since the words are so fitting.  We also used a few choruses; "God Will Take Care Of You" and "He Careth For You."

Colonel Ward was kind enough to play the keyboard for us so we had music.

Captain Diana was asked to read the words of the song "Someone Cares."  Then  Colonel Marguerite joined Lynn and I for a vocal trio, using the song "His Love Remains the Same."

One of the things I spoke about was the marks of a "Godly Leader" according to what the scriptures teach us.  I also used the scripture from Romans 8:31, "if God is for us, who can be against us?"

I included the Max Lucado story of the Woodcutter's Wisdom that repeats the line, "a blessing or a curse, who can say?  Only God knows."

It is our prayer that our ministry has left a positive impact on the leadership level of the Pakistan Territory.
